Guided Tours
North Texas Horse Country attracts more and more visitors each year. People are drawn by the beautiful and lush farmland scenery, the real working ranches,
the variety of horse breeds and the window into true American heritage.
Denton Convention and Visitor's Bureau has been offering the North Texas Horse Country Tours for several years and it is becoming one of our most popular attractions.
This tour is designed to be a relaxing day in the rolling farmland of North Texas, visiting two of the most impressive of our 300 horse ranches in the region.
Your group will meet professional cowboys and ranch-hands and will enjoy a private tour at each farm, demonstrating the operations of top-level, world-class horse farms.
The tour is constantly changing, with different farms on the itinerary. Many people take the tour multiple times, and you can be sure they see and learn something new every time.
